I don't know about you guys but I'm pretty sure Kutaragi is over his head once again. Sony is a big to do in Hollywood and possible formats but that doesn't make companies want to pay a lot more for the same performance from intel and AMD processors.
You think it's expensive now, wait until it's out of a Sony product and in third party. Where they need to raise the price to actually make a profit.
every CEO and company loves shortages, as long as they can meet the demand within 6 months so the market doesn't get too disgruntle. The advantage is that companies with this savor the money from high demand, but in Sony's case they'll loose hundreds per console. So that makes it tricky.
It happened with the 360, it'll happen with the Wii and PS3.
you know I hate how FF does this with their games, but their not the only ones. Shos screens that aren't in game, or more specifically what you'll see when you play the game. It's undeniable when all the other FF's did it.

i've played hl2 on the PC and I thought it was okay. It just wasn't immersive or as mobile as Halo 2's campaign. Also CS source was quite retarded when compared. But that's me.

i played the demo on the market place. All I can say is this isn't my game.
I'm not even gonna dignify this article with more than a couple of sentences. Halo 2 online was extraordinary, and campaign was impressive. Could of been better, but oh well.
Online is what keeps me playing Halo 2 and other games. You don't need much of anything else.

Developers are still standing behind the PS3 and 360 being very close in overall performance. But that's just hardware, and MS has always had far better software.
also to note, I'm not agreeing the PS3 will loose to 360 in sales. I'm gonna have to at least wait till launch.
flight sims are usually nothing fantastic, like stuff EA sports would make. But this could be good.
